This is an important post. Although there are people right now who believe immunisations are a government conspiracy to control the population and make huge sums of money we absolutely believe that the modern world would be a far more horrific place to exist if it weren’t for research and development in to vaccines and treatments.

Hiking Snowdon

“Oh misty eye of the mountain below…”

The lyrics from Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire” raised the hairs on our arms as we drove across England toward Wales and Snowdonia National Park. Yes, The Hobbit films were shot in New Zealand but the landscapes in this part of the world are similar enough that the Welsh valleys could quite easily have doubled for parts of Middle Earth.

We had decided to climb Snowdon in July 2017 and as always in the UK, hoped the weather would permit us to do so. We’d planned an extra day in the event we had to scrap an ascent due to bad weather. As we arrived at our campsite just outside the tiny village of Rhyd Ddu hopes were somewhat lacking as the rain lashed down with such force the windscreen wipers could barely keep up.

Travel With Points and Miles

Want to travel for free or at least save a heap of money on your bookings? Of course you do. We thought it would be useful for travellers, especially those from the UK, to explain how we gather points and miles and use them to save money. Travel can be cheap but frequently isn’t and it’s important you know how to extend your ability to experience the world as much as possible.

Over the last few years we’ve saved hundreds if not thousands of pounds simply by taking advantage of loyalty schemes, everyday spending, and a bit of time doing research.
